What sets us apart is that we incorporate games, creative activities, visual and tactile materials, movement, art and other multi sensory activities to make learning meaningful and enjoyable.
As children explore, create and make connections, we build essential skills following the curriculum that best meets their needs. We support BC Curriculum, Workplace Curriculum and Personalized Home Learners Curriculum.
Understanding Your Child
Assessment is a natural ongoing process woven into our time together. By building a trusting, secure relationship through observation, play and shared learning experiences, we discover your child’s unique strengths, interests, and ways of learning. Understanding your child guides our teaching, allowing us to adapt lessons and activities to meet and support, academic, emotional and developmental needs.
Goal Setting
We work closely with parents and educational agencies to establish meaningful learning goals. This helps us to track progress.
We believe that children grow when they are challenged and encouraged, but not when they are overwhelmed or pressured to succeed. This is why goals may evolve as we gain a deeper understanding of your child’s abilities, needs and well being.
Reports
We provide regular progress reports, updates and photos, giving parents and agencies a clear window into your child’s learning experience.
